A workshop on Basic life support and first aid for PG Scholars and internees was held as part of National Disaster Day program on 14^th Oct 2024 in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society, Hassan & SDM Youth Red Cross Unit, Hassan. The resource person was Dr. V L S Kumar, National Trainer for Disaster Management, IRCS, Shivamogga.

The chief guests for the program were Sri H P Mohan, President, IRCS Hassan, Dr. Tejashvi, Director of IRCS, Hassan, Sri Amjad Khan, Director of IRCS, Hassan, Smt. K G Jayashree, Director of IRCS, Hassan & Sri Basha, Social worker, Hassan. The program was presided by Dr. Prasanna N Rao, Principal of the institute. The coordinators of the program were Sri Jayendra Kumar, Treasurer, IRCS Hassan & Dr. Bahubali T S, Resident Medical Officer, SDMCAH, Hassan.
