The 27^th Graduation Day & Alumni meet was held on 4^th December 2024. Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, President, SDM Educational Society, Ujire presided the program. The chief guest was Dr. P. Madhavankutty Varier, Managing Trustee, Chief Consultant, Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal

& Smt. Shylaja Madhavankutty, Head, Materials, Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal. Sri D Surendra Kumar, Vice President, SDMES, Ujire & Smt. Anita Surendra Kumar, Trustee, SDMES, Ujire were present for the occasion. The Undergraduate batch of 2017-18 & 2018- 19 & Post Graduate batch of 2020-21 were awarded their degrees. Dr. Prasanna N Rao, Director, SDM Colleges of Ayurveda & Dr. Shailaja U, Principal were present on the dais. Dr. Sachin Nadka, Chief Consultant, Vedam Arogya Ayurveda Hospital, Kadri & Valencia, Mangalore was conferred the Ashwini award.

Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, President, SDM Educational Society, Ujire in his presidential address asked the young graduates and post graduates to be disciplined in life, proud Ayurveda vaidyas and to serve the society.  Dr. P. Madhavankutty Varier, Managing Trustee, Chief Consultant, Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal said the young vaidyas to have three ‘E’s in their lives namely Empathy, Experience and Ethics and motivated the students to serve the people and be generous in their approach.
