A symposium was held on the occasion of 4^th National Pharmacovigilance week on 20^th & 21^st Sep 2024. Dr. Nalini G K Professor & Head, Dept. of Pharmacology, Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College, Bengaluru & Former Director, RGUHS, Bengaluru spoke on the topic “Rational Drug Prescription” & Dr. S B Nishitha, Assistant Professor & Dr. Shreyas P Rao, Junior Resident, Department of Pharmacology, Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College, Bengaluru spoke on “Reporting Adverse Drug reactions”. The program was presided by Dr. Prasanna N Rao, Principal of the institute. Dr. Shailaja U, Vice Principal of the institute. Dr. Prakash L Hegde, PG Dean Academics & Dr. Govinda Sharma K, Co ordinator, Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centre were present on the dais. Faculty, PG Scholars and internees attended the program.
