On the occasion of National Ayurveda Day a walkathon and a National Conference on “Pain Management through Ayurveda & Ayurveda Innovations for Global Health” was held on 29^th Oct 2024.

The guests for the conference were Dr. Rajanna B, Director, Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, Hassan, Dr. Sindhu A, Vice President, R & D, AVP  Pharmacy, Coimbatore, Dr. Shivakumar Udasimath, Prof, Dept. of Pathology, HIMS, Hassan & Dr. Moosa Beary, District Ayush Officer, Hassan. Dr. Prasanna Narasimha Rao, Principal of the institute presided the program. Dr. Shailaja U, Vice Principal of the institute, Dr. Muralidhar P Pujar, Professor, Dept. of Panchakarma, & Dr. Gurubasavaraj Yalagachin, Organizing Secretary of the conference were present for the inaugural program. Deliberations on Pain Management through Ayurveda from different specialities of Ayurveda were given. Students from various Ayurveda colleges,  Ayurveda Medical Officers & practitioners attended the conference.
