An awareness program on Pharmacovigilance & workshop on Biostatistics & Research methodology was held on 23rd March 2024 by the Peripheral Pharmacovigilance Centre of the institute. Dr. Prasanna N Rao, Principal and the guests inaugurated the program. Deliberations were made on various topics. Dr. Lakshminarayana Shenoy, Asst. Director, Govt. Ayurveda Research Centre, Mysuru spoke on “Biostatistics & Research Methodology” and “Pharmacovigilance in Ayurveda practice”, Dr. Deepak P, Professor, Dept. of Pharmacology & Coordinator PpVC, HIMS, Hassan spoke on “Relevance of Pharmacovigilance in Health Sciences”, Dr. Muraleedhar Ballal, General Manager, SDM Ayurveda Pharmacy, Udupi deliberated on “Pharmacovigilance System Mandate for Drug Manufacturers”& Dr. Shailaja U, Vice Principal & HOD, Dept. of Kaumarabhritya, SDMCA & H, Hassan on “Clinical experiences on Adverse drug reactions”.
