Dr. Prasanna Narasimha Rao, Principal of the institute  conferred with the title “Professor Emeritus” in faculty of Ayurveda in the presence of the Pro- Chancellor of the University, Dr. K Sudhakar, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education, Government of Karnataka on 7th April 2021on the occasion of World Health Day for his tremendous contribution in the field of Ayurveda education, health service and research in a program held at Dhanwantari Auditorium, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru.
