An initiative was taken on 18^th July 2024 in the institute regarding the cleanliness drive from Tanniruhalla circle to Narasimharaja circle, Hassan and adjacent 80 feet road. In a meeting held at the institute Sri Yogananda C, Commissioner, Municipal Council, Hassan, Sri Venkatesh KR, Engineer of Environment Department, Sri Venkatesh Murthy, President of Green Foundation, Smt. Mamata Patil, Director of Green Foundation, Sri Manjunath T P, Secretary, Sri H.R. Majid, Member, Sri Syed Taj, Member of Green Foundation, Dr. Prasanna Narasimha Rao, Principal, SDMCAH, Hassan, Dr. Lohith BA, Associate Professor, Dept. of Panchakarma, Mr. Arun Kumar, Campus in- charge, SDMCAH, Hassan were present to discuss the same. It was decided to prepare a project blueprint on important issues namely beautification and maintenance of the road from Tanniruhalla circle to Narasimharaja circle, planting of trees in 80 feet road and maintaining cleanliness, waste management of both these roads will be handled by the municipality and placing of boards in this regard by SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Hassan

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Prasanna Narasimha Rao, Principal of the college said that this is the core work to make Hassan more beautiful, clean and healthy. Every citizen should be a part of it and cooperate in this meaningful work.
