With the advent of technology and information available at tip of the finger education today has undergone a sea change and so is the role of a teacher. Teacher today is not just an information provider but a facilitator of learning.  Hence the role of teacher becomes more significant as the experience of learning solely depends on the ability of the teacher to transform the information into the practical domains of learning – knowledge, skill and attitude. Hence with changing times a teacher needs to restore the tradition of Guru shishya parampara with judicious use of technology to fulfill the role of a facilitator of learning.
