Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Hassan, organized a One-Day Faculty Development Programme on “Practical AI Strategies for Effective Classroom Delivery” on 18 August 2026, under the aegis of the Human Resource Development Committee (HRDC).

The programme brought together AI, innovation, and pedagogy, empowering faculty members to explore practical approaches to integrating Artificial Intelligence into classroom teaching, clinical case-based learning, assessment, and student engagement.

The sessions led by Dr. Mamta Hegde and Dr. Sunil M. V. from SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysuru, provided hands-on insights into harnessing AI as a teaching partner that complements, rather than replaces, human intelligence.

From “Human Intelligence and AI in Harmony” to AI-enabled Ayurvedic clinical case development, interactive learning experiences, and the PACADI framework, the programme encouraged faculty members to move beyond using AI as a tool towards creating meaningful and transformative learning experiences.
