SAKSHAM, a unique initiative by BPRL Pharma aimed at empowering budding doctors with essential life skills and professional competencies, was inaugurated on 11 August 2026 at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Hassan. The programme aimed to nurture compassionate healthcare professionals and facilitate the transformation of students from academicians into successful practitioners equipped to serve humanity with empathy and excellence.

The inaugural function was graced by Dr. Shailaja U, Principal, Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Hassan, who formally inaugurated the programme. The event was attended by Mr. Hari Gupta, Master Trainer; Dr. Triveni, Senior Manager, BPRL Pharma; and Dr. Prakash L. Hegde, Vice Principal, Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Hassan.

The training programme was conducted over three days for three batches of final-year postgraduate scholars. The sessions consisted of expert lectures, interactive discussions, experiential learning activities, and hands-on training designed to enhance communication, leadership, professional ethics, patient engagement, and other essential life skills required for a successful medical career.

Through this initiative, the institution continues its commitment to fostering holistic professional development among its students, enabling them to emerge as competent, compassionate, and socially responsible healthcare professionals.
